The Kansas City Worker Justice Center is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization formed to empower low-income workers in the Kansas City metropolitan area by eliminating unjust employment practices.
At our monthly Workers Rights Clinics volunteer attorneys, students and other community members provide free assistance to workers with employment disputes, primarily involving unpaid wages. Workers are advised of their options, possible remedies, referred to other sources of assistance when necessary, educated about their rights and ways to avoid future problems. Workers are encouraged to be active in the resolution of their problems and in the creation of a more just labor environment.
Besides our clinic there are many governmental agencies that can assist you with your employment problems. Below you can find links to agencies in the Kansas City area.
